Talking to AI by voice? My experience
Speaking to AI can sometimes lead to better answers, not because voice is inherently better, but because we tend to give more context without filtering it so much.

Some time ago, it became possible to talk to AI by voice.
The idea makes sense to me. When we write, we filter a lot of information straight away. Sometimes because we do not feel like writing too much. Other times because we are used to summarising and leaving only what we think is essential.
When we speak, that happens less. We explain what we are trying to do, why it matters, what we have already tried, and even doubts we have not managed to organise yet.
And perhaps that is why, in some cases, AI gives better answers. Not because it can hear our voice, but because we end up giving it more context.
I started using this feature mainly when I begin a new project and there is a lot to explain. I still do not feel entirely comfortable talking to a computer, but it has been useful.
Then another problem appeared.
I only talk to the computer when I am alone. Partly because it feels awkward, but also because of what other people might think about my sanity.
And when I am alone with no humans around, my dog is usually next to me.
He spends 90% of the time asleep. But now, whenever I start talking to the AI, he lifts his head right at the beginning of the conversation.
Since he knows nobody else is around, he thinks I am talking to him.
I have been going back to the keyboard more often.
There are colleagues who need to stay focused on their work.
