goppo — About
Hi!
I'm Joaquim. At goppo, I create, teach and advise on AI applied to real work.

goppo · AI. Real work. Real people.01 / Who I am
Who am I?
Before committing to AI, I worked across several professional and creative fields. That experience is what I bring to what I do today: creative work with AI, training and consulting, always starting from real work.
Alongside goppo, I run Visual Studio at jaqqes.ai, for the more artistic side, with AI as support.

How did I end up in AI?
My connection with AI began in 2023, creating images with Midjourney, and soon extended to prompts, automations and programming. Technology had always interested me, though it had never been my field. But AI is a different kind of technology, one that depends more on communication, and that is where the experience from other professions and creative crafts became an advantage.
Everything I learned was practical: experimenting, applying it to real cases and adjusting based on the results. That is how I moved from prompts to GPTs, from automations to APIs, agents and AI-assisted programming.
03 / What I think
What is my idea about AI?
Getting a good result with AI is becoming easier every day. The hard part is doing it consistently, and that is where we remain essential: our experience, our knowledge and our judgement.
Anyone who knows a field well notices this quickly. First they are impressed. Then they start finding errors and generalisations. I believe those are exactly the people who get the most out of AI, because they know how to ask better questions and recognise when an answer, even a convincing one, is wrong.
People remain at the centre. AI only makes sense when it gives us more room to think, create and decide.
04 / Why goppo
Why goppo?
Some people want to start and do not know where. Some have already started but feel they are getting little out of it. And some already use AI and want to know how far they can go. That is why I created goppo.
05 / How I work
How do I work with AI?
My work is split into three areas: creative work with AI, training and consulting. In any of them, I always start by understanding the work, the context and the task before choosing a tool.
Not everything needs AI just because it is now possible to put AI into everything. If there is a task, a process, or an idea where AI might make sense, we can start there. One idea at a time.
06 / Talk
We can start with a conversation.
You do not need to arrive with the question fully formed. We can look at what is happening, where AI could help and whether anything makes sense to do — and what.
